Waiting to become a flower

I saved this candy tin a few years ago, it was a gift that came to the office I work at, it was filled with delicious candies and I wanted the tin when emptied. I must admit I have a compulsion to save containers.
I am very happy I saved this one, it is working wonderfully for my flowers as I am making the sets and waiting to sew them together. I take this tin with me when I go places, along with a needle, small pair of scissors, and thread color I need, and sew the flowers together as time allows. This is the last time the tin will be filled with flower petals as I think I have all I need to complete my top. I will have many many white hexagons to make for the filler but the flowers will be complete when these are sewn together.
I am going to go back to the hockey game. I am upset with the officiating. I don't know if you have been following the games but the officiating this year just sucks. So many uncalled infractions and so many called infractions that are very very questionable. Oh well, what can you do but watch and enjoy the game.

Oooh -- now that's my kind of candy. Low calorie and beautiful to look at! Love the colors!

Looks like rows of delicious fruity wafers. Hexagons are the best - addicting and portable . . . a great combination.

Fabric candy, no calories and high in fiber, too! Lovely photo, can't wait to see the blooming garden that these "seeds" will produce!
