Plugging along

I started this quilt about 3 years ago. I cut out all the pieces, which took a long time. I made the templates, drew on the fabric and cut and cut and cut. I made piece A out of a different fabrics, not duplicating on this piece. All B's are white. (This is the second one I am making of this pattern)

I am to the point of sewing the pieces together now. This is a long tedious process, but well worth the effort. As you can see there are many many curves that must be sewn. It curtainly is a good quilt for practice on sewing curves. I slowing plug along on this while I am trying to figure out what I want to do next. Just like my Grandma's Flower Garden, this quilt probably won't be done this year but it will get done.
The reason I am making this a second time. This one is for me. The first quilt was to small for my queen bed so I am making it bigger. I gave my first one to my nephew. When I find a picture of it I will post the picture. Well I am going to go to get some sewing in before I must get ready for work.
Good Day to all.

Have you tried one of those special feet for sewing curves? Apparently, they work well. I haven't tried one myself though. Or are you sewing them by hand?

What fun blocks -- and way too many curves for me to want to attempt it, but boy will it be beautiful when it is done!
