Body of Gail's quilt done.

Here is the completed main body of the quilt design by Gail. What a fun quilt to make. The blocks go together very easily the only thing I did that I would not recommend is use the stripped fabric. I wanted the strips to flow with the direction of the block therefore I had to cut on the bias which really is not fun. I don't think the quilt lies as well as it would if I would not have done this. I will have to try with other fabrics and see, but that won't be for awhile.
I am going to take a bit of a break and quilt the Jacob's Ladder now. I am excited to get this done though. I really want to see how it comes out.

I love it, it looks so good- better than my EQ version!

That is funny you said that about the stripped fabric, because it makes the quilt. It was extra process, but worth the effort. Once it is quilted it will lay nicely. Beautiful!!!

I love the quilt. I agree with Bren. The stripes make the quilt sing.

Hi Dot, I'm always amazed at your creative eye. You seem to sew out of the box and it works! Blessings for the New Year!
