I received my gift from Jill today. Her blog is
Ramblings of a Fabric Obsessor. She had a drawing a few weeks back and I was the lucky winner. These are the goodies I received. Thank-you Jill, they are wonderful and will work really well with my project I am doing right now.
The project, well the tulip quilt from
Red Geranium Cottage caught my eye as it did Kim at
Kim's Big Quilting Adventure. She made a smaller version of it over the week-end which once again peaked my interest.
Sooooo what was I to do but start one myself. I finished quilting my Tripping with Bonnie, it is waiting for the binding. I just had to start the tulips.
I have all my tulip blocks made, now I will make the stem blocks, then start sewing the quilt together. It is a rather easy quilt to make and I am excited to get it done. I know
I know, I should be working on
SITP but I have some math to figure on that and I am just not in the mood. I want to play and play I will do right now. I have a few quilts to get quilted also but play I will do. Do I sound like a bratty kid or what?
Off to play ---- Good evening. Dot

Ah now, we wouldn't be quilters (true quilters) if we weren't working on the stuff we 'shouldn't' be *s*
Congrats on your prize! It looks like fun! I'm that way about my knitting. I really have to force myself to finish a project before I start a new one.
Oh, your tulip blocks are so fun. I'd love to see the next step of this blocks. :-)
Wow you are so prolific. Your TATW quilt looks wonderful - so bright and cheerful. That tulip quilt is gorgeous as well - I can see how you want to make that. Congrats on your prize.
What math are you trying to figure out for the SITP quilt? You're the second one whose mentioned math, and you're both scaring me!
What is the pattern for that tulip quilt? I love it!
