I completed the valentine piece. I decided it needed to look like a postage stamp so that is what I did.

With my embroidery machine I put USA 41 to make it look like a 41cent postage stamp. I like it. I figure this way I can keep it out longer than just Valentines Day.

Here was my valentines gift. I bet no one else received this for Valentines Day. I love braunschweiger and occasionally treat myself to some. Well hubby went shopping last night and decided to get me a whole pound for my gift. I did smile, made myself a wonderful sandwich with it today, and enjoyed every bite.
Have a wonderful weekend. Dot

I remember that stuff from when I was little. (I'll stick to chocolate...which I bought for myself, thank you very much! LOL)
Enjoy your weekend, Dot!
Dot, making a quilt look like a postage stamp is the greatest idea! I'm going to have to copy that idea in the future for my hubby the mailman :)
That is really cute!
love how that turned out! very cool.
Hey -- I love Braunschweiger too!
Oh -- and the embroidery is nice, also! LOL
Now that is a perfect Valentine *s*
Your tulip quilt is very cute as is the house block for Bonnie. I've never received Braunschweiger as a Valentine's Day gift, but I love it, too. Spread it on some homemade bread and mmmmmmm. Now I'm hungry for some.
I grew up on braunschweiger and have never liked it! Yick!
