Rantala Rags sweat shop is up and running again. My vacation is over and time to get going. Why you might ask am I saying this. Well, I found out my son reads my blog and he told me I need to slow down. He says I am like a sweat shop on my quilts. I disagree. I have fun and if my tops go together quickly so be it. I admit, I do not make very complicated patterns, I would loose interest to quickly. I have a top I have been working on, (on and off) for about three years now. Someday it will be done. It is many, many curved seams so I don't sew on it to much as the progress is slow.
This new top is boring. I did not choose my fabrics well, but I will finish it, and it will make a good charity quilt.
Well back to the sewing machine. Good evening to all. Dot

Add some red to make it all come together--individually the pattern/colors are interesting.
But to me, red would be the color to add.
So much for my 2 cents worth.
Enjoy it - what ever you decide.

You do put those quilts out pretty fast! But if it is something you love and if it is a great way to unwind from the hassles of the world than go to it, girlfriend!
Doing something you love is never work. Someone recently asked me if I do anything but quilt. Ahh, well, actually, not much.
How can it be like a sweat shop when it's so much fun *s*
Look out for the quilt police, will they stage a raid on a sweat shop? You're always up so something new and interesting, thanks for the continued inspiration.
Oh my goodness Dot!! I do not think that top is boring at all! It is wonderful. I also love 2 color quilts, but this one is a beauty....I would keep it!
Like you, I have a low boredom threshold and like to do lots of things. The quilt looks good, and a red or pink border or binding colour would look good I agree.
