I am stuck on this pattern. This is the 3rd one I have made in a month. It started back on June 22 when I decided to make a patriotic version to send to Ukraine with a friend. I made it as a gift from America for her mother. I liked it so much I had to make another one. I used red/white/blue Christmas fabric. ( I don't have a picture of it yet.)
I have a friend who is getting married and I have made this one for her. A problem has come about though, I like this one so much I don't know if I want to give it to her. I just might have to come up with plan B.
Do you ever make a quilt and when completed you don't want to part with it? I probably will give this to her but it will be hard.
Have a good evening. Dot.

I love these quilts too
very graphic and look great in many colors.
I would keep this one and just make her another one!
That happens with almost every quilt i make. I can see why you love this one so much.
My problem is I never want to give away any of my quilts! I'm afraid I don't the answer for you. I do like the quilt and I can understand why you wouldn't want to give it away.
Sometimes a quilt will come along that you just can't bear to part with . . . time to make another *s* Do you have enough of the fabrics to make a second?
So start making them as smaller blocks and then put them together as a top. Make 2 blocks using the same fabric only 1 can be a bigger size. Kind of like I am doing with my Homespun BOM. In the end YOU will have a quilt with all the favorite ones and the big ones will have been given away.
I had a really hard time letting my 4SQS summer go out into the wild.
keep it. make some mini-quilts.
I don't have that issue Dot-when I am making a quilt for someone, it is all about enjoying the process and looking forward to seeing how much they will like it. This pattern sure is a fun one.
If I don't want to keep the quilt DD does! However, there are just so many quilts you can keep, well, if you want to avoid a divorce, that is! But if you want to keep it, you're free to do so!
I can see why this one will be hard to part with! Does this pattern have a name? I love the quilt.
