A Fungly only

the maker could love. Yes, I do think this is about the most ugly "fungly" I have spotted on my blog reads. I don't know what I was thinking other than getting this fabric used up and out of my way.
This will be quilted and donated and somewhere-- somehow-- someone will love it to death.
Whoever decides this is the fungly they can't live without probably won't have to many wanting to steal it away from them. A Charlie Brown Fungly.
Maybe that should be the name The Great Pumpkin Fungly.
Well now to get back to the SITP. G
Good evening to all. Dot

really, when you look at the small photo it has kind of an interesting texture. I have to admit that it's pretty fungly close up, though! I fungly only its mother could love?

It is more fungly than some, probably because you haven't used 12,000 colors. Still, it will warm somebody and maybe there is a fungly person out there who has decorated their house in those very colors.

I think that you're right that the person who receives this quilt will love it alot because it'll keep him/her warm with winter coming and won't mind if the colours aren't exactly right. Good job in getting the top all pieced. BTW, I really like the snail's trail quilt too; can't wait to see it finished. QGB

Well I beg to differ with your opinion of the Halloween quilt. I clicked for a larger size view and I thought it was great. Lovely even. So there.

You're right when you say that someone will love it. They will, and just thinking about the joy that this quilt will bring makes it the most precious quilt of all!!

What a great name . . . it will definitely appeal to someone out there *s*

I agree with Joyce - you have chosen a theme and colours and stuck to it - some of them don't look fungly at all because there are 2 million zillion colours.

Actually, I like it!

I really like it. It's got zing and style and is for Halloween, what's not to love?

Hej,

I think, it's lovely. The way you combined those strange fabrics is really creative *s* I too have some weird and ugly fabrics lying around and seeing this gives me hope. I even like it up close *g* The weirdness is funny *s* and lazy gal is right, it's a great halloween piece.

Close up, it's kinda quirky, and yes, fungly. But you know, it's almost like those Gees Bend Quilts - it kinda grows on you, especially from farther away. Who knows, 100 years from now, someone will find it and post it, or beam it, or whatever tech. they are using, and someone will ask, "What was she thinking?" I kinda like it!
