The US is not a democracy, it is a republic. Critical to a democracy is one vote for one citizen. The electoral process defeats any possibility of a truly democratic election.
This is an incredibly sad day for capitalism in America. I just hope that people are ready for what they voted foe. I don't want to hear ANY one that voted for Obama to complain about his choices for the next 4 years. I say, "Be careful what you wish for"! Please pray for our nation, we are going to need it!
To bad the pedlar doesn't have a place to comment but I am amazed you stated we are a republic. I didn't know anyone know that anymore. Kudoos to you.
