You betcha

Have I been sewing during the time that I have been rubbing libs the wrong way with my Obamanation news?
You betcha!!
I made a Halloween themed Tobacco Road, following Bonnie's pattern. I like how it turned out and and have decided to call it "Trick or Treaty". We had a really cute little trick or treater on Halloween night and she kept saying trick or treaty so I have decided to to name the quilt that.
I have spent every week-end with my grandson and watching some great football games. (I have made and executive decision and there will no longer be any pictures of my family posted on this blog.) Grandpa and I even had the privilege of having the little guy spend the night with us last Friday. We had fun. I made to receiving blankets for him and two diapers. They are using cloth diapers so I have been buying up flannel rems to make some designer diapers for the little fella.
I have another quilt top done but will not post a picture of that until it is quilted and the binding sewn down.
I have to get back to work. Have a good day. Dot
Capitalism still rocks.

Oh good - something I know a lot about - QUILTS! THis one is so amazing - funny how each variety looks so different from the next, yet all are splendid! I have a version (a friend's) on my recent post.

Your Old Tobacco Road done in Halloween fabrics really turned out so nicely, very different from the scrappy version.

How come no more pictures of family, Dot? I'll miss them and certainly understand but still want to know why. Curious minds want to you, you know?

That was supposed to say "curious minds want to know, you know". Sheesh, where are my glasses...
