Bookmarked some of your links for later. I think about these things that are going on a lot. Did you see Condoleeza Rice on The View last week? She made me so happy when she spoke about Bush regarding Katrina. I don't know if people really get why capitalism is so important to this country. The American people seem to be overcome with this "what can you give me, what can you do for me" syndrome of thinking. What happened to independence? The amazing thing about this country is you have the opportunity to make of your life here what you want. If you work hard you can achieve anything. If you desire a simple life you can have that too - and live well! I am really scared for where we are headed. I have really tried to give Obama a fair chance, and it's unreal to me how forgiving the American Public seems to be with this guy, when they were ready to slaughter past Presidents for their ill-practices and mistakes. I don't get it. I don't mean to be offensive, because I truly am happy we have moved forward and elected a black President, but people and the media treat him like he's Jesus. Lol* I'm just not ready to kneel down to the guy and praise him yet. I think he should be given the fair chance as any other President has gotten, but at the same time not a free pass to acceptance.
