I goofed

Okay, I started a quilt for my son. Well this is supposed to be a sawtooth star block. Guess who cut the wrong fabric for the corner squares? Yep, you are right me!!! Here is what they should look like.
I made soap yesterday. This is goat milk/oatmeal soap. I look forward to using this in the fall.

I quilted the quilt I made for Otis. It is big. It will definitely fit a twin bed. Otis is now 8 months. I guess he will grow into it.

A picture of the completed quilt will come later.
May God Save America.

My grandson is ten months old now and I'm thinking BIG too, they'll grow into them, right? You're in good company with your goof, I do things like that ALL THE TIME... arrggh!

HAHA, I thought I was the only one that did goofy stuff like that! Otis will grow into his quilt too. I think you need to send me some of that soap. My DH is a soap freak!

Hee! I think it is hilarious that we made the same mistake, for I have done that too! I love your soap, and I have made a little bit in the past.

I too have made the same mistake. Maybe it should be our way and not the other way. Your soap looks good.

What a difference the cream triangles make to the block! Never mind. At least you caught it before the top was finished - some mistakes can creep right in there!
