New Project

This is the project I started on Saturday at my sewing group. I really did not need a new project but am at the point with the other two quilts that I really didn't want to haul them around to work on them so I started this. I do have an intended recieptant in mind, I won't mention any names incase she is reading my blog. ( She checks in from time to time.) You probably have guessed, the pattern is a nine patch/snaowball. I like the results, even though it is bright. I took the color combination from the focus fabric, therefore the bright pink and black. I must admit, I am not much of a pink person but the more I am working with it the more it is growing on me. Who knows, maybe someday I will like pink. Not much else, I am on a long lunch break, eating, catching up on the blog, and sewing. Have a great day.

I just love that fabric in the middle of the snowballs.

I love your quilt. The pink and black really sets off your focus fabric. The recipient of this quilt is very lucky indeed!

I like the pink and black combo in this quilt. I recently made a snowball 9 patch wallhanging for my MIL to use as a signature quilt. The snowballs and centre square in the 9 patch is white. Don't know if she has got any signatures yet or not!

I like it - the black and pink are an ideal contrast for the focus fabric.

I just love this pattern. I've made one of these in flannel and it goes together so quickly. /paula the_quilter {at} yahoo {dot} com

The snowball fabric is superb - very Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's - oh I so loved Audrey Hepburn that I cried when she died, not many celebrities have that effect on my - I think the quilt will be great!
