Finished and Unfinished

I have caught the crud. I started yesterday getting achy all over and my neck getting stiff, as the day progressed I felt worse. I made dinner last night, not what I wanted to do but had to, and then soaked in the tub. I woke up this morning with a very sore throat. I am laying very low today.
Here is the picture of my completed February HAD by Judy. I like the outcome. There is a young girl out there somewhere that this quilt will really put a smile on her face. I don't know about giving it up. I think I will try this pattern with scrappy stars.
Here is the picture of my bricks and stepping stones. I had posted a picture on a previous post with this on my bed, here is the picture all by itself. I really like this. I was asked in a comment if I was keeping this for myself. Yes I am. I made this larger with the mindset of keeping it for my bed and am so happy with the outcome that I definitely am keeping it.

Many of the bloggers have been posting pictures of their oldest UFO's. Well this is my oldest UFO. I made this top about three years ago and have not quilted it yet. I do plan to quilt it this year. I probably won't get to it until later this summer or in the fall but it will be quilted this year. I do believe it has aged long enough and is ready to be quilted.
I hope all are healthy and do not get this crud. I an going to close and go take a nap. Have a great week-end.

I love the pictures! Now I am fired up to quilt my HAD quilt. I am giving mine away too. It will be at my house a bit longer tho as I am not happy with the 1st row of quilting....I SHOULD have tried the new panto on a sample piece FIRST!

Sorry to hear about the crud! All three quilts are very pretty. A three year old UFO? That's pretty young for most of us! ;)

I love your finished quilts and only three years on a UFO? Hmmnph. Admittedly, mine is not a quilt per se -- but it is 11 years old, eeeek!

Your HAD is gorgeous, I'd have a hard time giving it up too, but then again, just think how happy the recipient will be. I bet she'll know how hard it was to let go!

Your bricks and stepping stones is very striking, that pattern is on my list of "to do's".

Your quilts are so pretty! You get so much done - how do you do that?! Sorry you caught the crud. I had it so I know it's not fun. Take care of yourself.

Three beauties - I have been thinking about a quilt featuring flying geese. Your UFO is perfect inspiration.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

All quilts are lovely but I especially like the blue and white flying geese quilt.
