HAPPY 4th Of JULY

Well here it is, just in time for the celebration of our nations birthday. I have completed my patriotic quilt for the year. I just finished stitching the binding on it.
I like it. I might try again with a different concept but I must say I like how this came out. Keep in mind I had no pattern, just a picture I saw on someones blog and the picture was on just one of the star blocks. I don't draw my patterns out first, I just go from what I see in my head. As my daughter says I would probably be better off if I sketched the idea first but I don't know if I would follow it any way.
Well I best be getting in bed. Good night or morning and have a Happy and safe 4th of July celebration.

Oh wow -- I love this quilt. The red/white striped corners along with the stars really make this one for me!

Wow..no pattern. I am impressed. It turned out beautifully. I am making my first patriotic wallhanging. Nothing as fancy as yours, just a flag with 1 large 5 pointed star in the corner. Felt like I needed to touch some red white and blue fabric on the 4th!!

Wow -- that's terrific! Now I want to copy it from your blog - it could end up making it's way around the world - LOL!
