I am slowly chugging along on my new project. I finished this today. It seems like it took a long time to make just one word. I have slowed a bit now that I am back to work full days. I am very tired when I get home, I want to continue with my physical therapy, walking 1 mile and carrying a 5lb dumbbell at the same time. I know this will end soon, the days are getting shorter and the weather is turning. I think I can get pretty much the same workout riding my stationary bike for 30 minutes and holding the weight while doing that when I can no longer walk outdoors. I would rather be walking outdoors so I continue to take advantage of that while I can. I have been going to bed very early also. I am way past my bedtime right now. I have been in bed by 7:30 and it is now 8:30. I know this will change as I heal more and my strength and endurance improve but that is what I have to do right now.
I will say good night to all. I just wanted to get a quick post in to show some progress on my new project. Good Evening. Dot

Glad you're on the road to rocovery, even if it's going slowly at times.
Love your Christmas! The first couple words I made took forever, but now I am much speedier with the letters themselves.
Nice to see what you're up to!
The first attempt at letters does seem to take an age, but it's worth it in the end. Can't wait to see the end result.
I love your letters!! You must need the rest now that you are back to work. Take what ever bedtime you need. Things will even out soon as your body readjusts.
As you say, recovery takes time! Love what you're working on. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Hang in there. Your tired now but it will take time to get back in the swing of things and build up your strength. I love your Christmas word!
Go you!! I love the Christmas word!!
Recovery is a slow process but you'll be looking back at all this progress before your know it.
Love the Christmas piece so far . . . so bright and cheery *s*
It looks beautiful! I can't wait to see it finished. You're so good to get started on it now. I would have waited until December and then it would have sat as a UFO until the following year.
The first word looks very promising. I like the way it seems unplaned. I wish you a rapid recovery. Take care.
Glad to hear you are feeling better -- but be kind to yourself and don't push it! Better slow than not healed :0).
Love those letters -- great work!
My PT is winding down (2 more sessions next week) and then I'll be on my own to continue some of the stretches and exercises at home (in addition to the 45 min. cardio per my heart doc). Slow and steady which is hard for an impatient person like me! Your CHRISTMAS word looks great! I'm stalled between first letter project and my second ... one of these days!
