Quick post

Well I am done with the 4 patches. I cut and sewed and sewed and sewed. I think I counted over 600 of these little buggers. This is what I thought was interesting. I am easily amused. As I chain stitched this is how they landed on the floor, no coaxing, it is just fascinating to me that the would do this all on their own.
Here is the pile all sewn and pressed. Tonight I will start on the half square triangles. I messed up on the last ones I made and now I have to cut more fabric. Good thing I bought way to much of that.

Have a good day. I have to get ready for work. Dot.

In keeping with the season, it's like a four-patch wreath *s*

I like red and white together. Maybe the 4-patches know something we don't, although I have no clue what it would be. It is a great photo.

That string of strip piecing looks like a peppermint candy. Love the red and white Jacob's ladder quilt -- and hey -- it is festive!

Ya know why they landed so nicely on the floor? You obviously don't have a helper kitty... (or two.)

I used to have a photo of my little girl (back when she was still little) sitting on such a pile... She let out the most awful meow when the next block landed on her...

I find that sort of thing amusing too, don't worry. It's amazing how they fell just like that.

Somebody's trying to give you Christmas candy cane spirit for sure! Either that, or the ladder is already heading up to heaven! Either way, it is, as Martha Stewart would say 'a very good thing' ha ha.
