quilting done

Cheryl, at Quilting Hallow, wanted to know what pattern I used to make my pink/black quilt. This is a picture of the cover of the book I got the pattern out of. The pattern is called Crossroads to Jericho. A fairly easy pattern. It just took me a long time because of my broken arms and having to have the ability to pin all the seams.

Here is a picture of a corner of it quilted. I don't know why but the pink just does not want to photograph. The only thing I can think is because I dyed the fabric with RIT dye it washes out with the flash of the camera. It really is a soft pink and black.
I wish the true colors would show but that is just the way it is. All done quilting and now I will put a black binding on it. I want to get this done so I can sew the binding down while watching the superbowl. Sorry SweatPea, I am going to root for the underdogs. The Patriots will probably win but I will root for the underdogs. Go Giants!!! Dot

Even just the cover of the book looks fun!

I bet the pink with the blacks/whites is just stunning in-the-fiber! I have a pink shell that looks very smart when I pair it with a black blazer.

I really like that book - the quilt on the cover has been on my to-do list for a long time.
Your black and pink quilt looks wonderful as well. A B&W quilt has been on the list as well.
So many quilts, so little time...

Thank you for the quilt information. The book looks great! And I really like Crossroads to Jericho in the scrappy look too.

I hate it when pictures don't do the item justice! It still looks great and I can imagine a beautiful pink color.

It is amazing how different that pattern looks with 2 colors instead of lots of colors!!! I have that book and cut out the cover quilt this past summer - hopefully I will start on it soon!

Cheers!
