My fix

This is how I decided to fix my pinwheel problem. I made new pinwheels using different fabrics. I like it better also, the pinwheels are a bit more subdued. I don't know why but this quilt top does not photograph very well. It really is not as bright as it comes out in the photos.
I will add a three inch border in brown and be done. It will be a square quilt, about 61x61. I don't get to excited about square quilts but it will make a nice table cover.
Have a good evening. Dot

Great fix! The quilt looks really nice. If you use it on a table, do you quilt it any differently (like with a different batting)?

It's a beautiful quilt, I'm glad you found a way to fix the lack of pinwheels.

Beautiful piecing - I always like pinwheel blocks. It will make a great table quilt.

Did you undo all those pinwheels and replace them?! The result is excellent, but a lot of work!

(mmm I need to proof read before sending ...)

Anyway, your quilt is lovely, but how you handled the sashing and cornerstones make it POW!

(There, no mispellings this time!)

That is a great fix - I like these better than the original ones too, but Dot, did you have to rip out all those old ones to put in the new ones?
