Here is my progress on SITP. It is going together smoothly but I certainly hope the quilting hides my multitudes of sins. I have many many puckers, tucks and sniped of corners on this quilt. I guess my cutting measurements must have been a hair off because things are just a bit askew, but they are staying that way.
I am not to certain about my color combination either. I should have stayed with the two color combination. Oh, well, live and learn. If I don't like it, someone will, and it will make a good charity quilt.
Time to get ready for bed. Good evening. Dot.

I like the colors very much. I can't see anything wonky from here so I'm sure most people (except the quilt police) won't either. Snail's Trail is one of my favorite patterns. It looks very complex but is relatively easy to do. I've never done one with stars though.
Neat! Is there a story behind your color choices?
Mine is made out of fabrics that "mush" together - that hides a multitude of sins.
I almost forgot - your's looks very sharp in comparison to mine. I always like to see this pattern done up - that all look neat.
I've never seen this pattern before! It's great! I love it! I think your color choices are great too! Wait till you have the top completed, you may like the combination better by then... 8-)
Happy stitchings!
I like your color combinations. It kind of reminds me of "team" colors!
I like the pattern too.
I love that every one of these I've seen looks so different! I have almost all my blocks done -- only seven more of the 6" stars left to do... and then I get to start assembling, too. It's a good pattern for things being wonky because there's so much going on in the design.
Dot, I really like your choice of colors. the red gives it pizzazz and , in my humble opinion, just the right amount of accent. I don't see any wonky problems. Can't wait to see the whole finished top. Post a pic when you can.
Wow! It's bold. I love it.
It's beautiful. Only you know your mistakes. Sometimes if you don't tell no one will ever know!
That's a very striking quilt and I love the colors you've used. A Snail's Trail is one that I've always thought I'd liketo make and now that I've seen yours with the stars, I'm sold!
And again you have shown me a wonderfull quilt, Love the orange in it very much.
This is one of my favorite patterns, I think yours looks wonderful, great color contrast. It will look stunning when it's quilted!
I love your snails tail! So darling.
Love it! Love the colors too - very bright and direct! Can't see any problems from here. One of my quilting friends said that any mistakes you can't see from a galloping horse, don't count!
I love it! Your color choice is a good one so please do not hesitate, your quilt is beautiful!
This quilt is gorgeous! I'm sure you won't notice what you think is a flaw when it is all put together. Right now you are too close up to see the big picture.
I think the orange and blue combo is very striking!!! Way to go - you are in the homestretch now!
Cheers!

I dig these colors and I love the quilt. These are Florida Gator colors, too. Just in case you decide you're unhappy with it and want it to rehome this baby!!!
...of course I'm being facetious.
