Worth the wait

I received my Summer Swap quilt today and it was certainly worth the wait. I love it. Lucy at mybyrdhouse made it for me. She has name it "Here comes the sun." What a fun bright cheerful little quilt to hang in my sewing room.

Not only did she send the quilt but I received other goodies also. Lucy sent a bar of home made soap, it smells so good, Lavender. Oh a bunch of teas, a chicken pin cushion and a hand knit dishcloth. Oh what a great box to receive in the mail today.
Enjoy the week-end. We are still sweating it out here in Portland. Dot

Now that's a fun package! I went to the coast yesterday and it was warm even there. Usually I have to wear a light jacket but not this time.

I love the "sun" quilt! I was in Portland for a couple of days this week, for work, and couldn't believe the temperature -- who know it got up to 100 there?!
