Friday quilt show

Pictures of a quilt show I attended on Friday. So many beatiful quilts. It is really hard to pick a favorite.

This quilt is an raffle quilt for a school in West Lynn, OR. The lady standing in from of the quilt is the maker of the quilt. She did a great job and it is a beautiful quilt. Fussy cutting and the back is really nice. If you are interested in a ticket you can contact Nanyct Ware @503-656-2833. The name of the quilt is Autum Leaves.

They are wonderful, each and every one. I love the look of combining simple pieced blocks with applique in the borders (the nine patch and bear paw quilts pictured)but the quilt at the end with the people holding hands all around the edge is simply fantastic! Thanks, Dot!

Easy for me to pick a favorite - the Christmas one with the lights in the border. LOVE it!

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the show. It is so much fun to see what other quilters are doing. I love to look at the quilts and find fabrics that I have, or have used in quilts. It gives me a feeling of sisterhood with that quilter even though I may not know her.

Thank you for sharing the quilt show! Each one has a texture that just draws you in...would be wonderful to nap under, except they are so pretty, I would not like to muss them.. :)

The venue was much better this year, good lighting and enough room to not feel claustrophobic. Hubby and I had a good time doing the treasure hunt, it made us notice details on the quilts that we wouldn't have seen otherwise.
