It has been decided. The two teams in the Stanley Cup finals will be Penguins and Red Wings. I will be rooting for the Red Wings, my husband on the other hand will be secretly rooting for the Penguins. He likes the Red Wings but is very impressed with how the Penguins are playing. There was a time when I would have chosen the Penguins but I will stick with the Red Wings
I was asked what fabric I will be using for the stars, well this is it. Only one fabric choice for all 24 stars. We'll see what happens.

It's funny that hockey is still being played, when our temps are skyrocketing. I always think of it as a winter sport *s*

I, too, am a Red Wings fan! Born and raised just outside Detroit. As a child, I was even taken to a game at Olympia in the times of Gordie Howe, Nick Libitt, Marcel Dionne, Mickey Redmond...Here's hoping that they can beat Sidney Crosby and the Penguins even without Stevie Y! :)
PS While I lived in Dallas, the Stars are okay...after all...Mike Madono is from Livonia :)
I've used that fabric in 2 of my quilts and really love it! Great, fun choice!
